The annual (re)nomination round of Microsoft MVPs (Most Valuable Professionals) happened in early July. It took us a few days to clarify the nominations and assignments for Access.
MVPs are independent expert users who are very active in their communities in various ways and have direct contact with the product teams at Microsoft. Therefore, they can report bugs and other concerns and act as a bridge between the communities and Microsoft.
About 3000 MVPs can be found on Microsoft's MVP website, and you can filter by "Technology Area" such as Access there. However, this is not entirely reliable. Some MVPs are missing (so their profile link may not work temporarily) and some technology assignments are incorrect. Our list has been corrected for these errors and only shows the currently 18 MVPs with a real focus on Access:
Maria Barnes, USA
Adrian Bell, UK
Gustav Brock, Denmark
Luke Chung, USA
Peter Doering, Germany
Karl Donaubauer, Austria
Xavi Lloberas Dalmases, Spain (since Aug 2024)
Juan Jose Luna Aleixos, Austria
Daniel Pineault, Canada
Colin Riddington, UK
Richard Rost, USA
Juan Soto, USA
Armen Stein, USA
Tom van Stiphout, USA
Yuhong Wang, China
Mike Wolfe, USA
George Young, USA
Dagi (Doug) Yudovich, USA
There is a typo in the name of Xavi Lloberas Dalmases, the new Spanish MVP. 😉
Congratulations everyone!
