Microsoft Access was launched on Oct 28, 1992. At the AEK in October we celebrated with a massive cake. I also wrote the Access song that Viktoria and I are performing here.
I discovered Access thanks to a cousin of mine, who is now unfortunately no longer with us, in 1994 and since then my professional and business life has changed profoundly. I have developed quite complex hotel procedures both for the company I work for and for third parties. Access allowed me to build my own flat, buy another one, travel the world and raise two daughters until they graduated. I will never stop thanking MsAccess, which continues to give me great satisfaction, and my cousin who introduced me to it.

Excited to see your site. My first Access job was in 1993 for a computer recycling company in Toronto. I didn't even own a computer at the time, they had to loan me one. Had no idea at the time Access would become my career for almost 30 years. I am talking pure Access, I have had only one project with a SQL Server backend, I know right? I owe my life to Access, it allowed me to buy a house in Toronto and raise 3 kids on a single income.
